(Report #5): TKC (Tenggarong Kutai Carnival)

IT WAS A SPLENDID DAY.

It really is.

I CAN'T FORM ANY WORDS MORE THAN-- FANTASTIC. AWESOME. SPLENDID. Everything that you could wish to see on a performance!

This is so late but well assignments, assignments... what do you expect???

What is TKC???

What--!? You--- Geez, guys, you must know about it! TKC is an acronym of Tenggarong Kutai Carnival, something like a fashion parade of cultural wonders on that Kutai Kartanegara region-- like that Samba thing parade on Brazil, or maybe Dia de Muertos in Mexico (...ok, maybe not about the Mexico one but I hope you got the gist). So, yes, it so glorious, not to mention it's using a theme with the region cultures in it, and any all ding a dong fancy fancy things all over it.

Where is it?

On Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara, of course! It will hold again next year at October 25th, so be sure to not miss it!
Oh, and it be held to commemorate 231th of Tenggarong's birthday.

Btw, this is my personification of Tenggarong. sssttt everyone that knows Hetalia just ssstttt

TKC with a theme 'The Magic of Borneo'

Fanccyyy... This is from Belian, one of sub-themes in TKC.

There's three sub-themes in 'The Magic of Borneo'. The one is Belian (traditional medical treatment with chanting and dances, very sacred ritual), Orchid of Borneo (there's Duta, Black, and Manuntung's Orchid as sub sub-themes), and Seraong of Borneo (Seraong/Seraung is a traditional hat worn by Dayak People to keep them from the sun).

The performance began with a show from the fancy-ass kicking of JFC, the consultant creator of TKC. I really love the music that they use, especially that marching band one. The music is so neat, and the customes... their dances, it matches so well with one another.

WHAT SORCERY THAT YOU USE YOU WILL BE GOING ON TO FEET FOR 3 KM STRAIGHT YOU
